Official Immigration Medical Examinations

We are excited to offer official immigration medical examinations at Laza Internal Medicine. We will work closely with you to streamline an efficient and expedient completion of the process. We are looking forward to helping you!

The medical exam consists of 3 major parts as follows:

  1. A history, physical examination and mental health evaluation in person by the designated Civil Surgeon, Dr. Laza. The fee for this exam is $300 and cannot be reimbursed by insurance. The fee is due before the appointment.

  1. Mandatory bloodwork as per CDC guidelines. We will collect the bloodwork in the office and send it to Labcorp. We can submit your medical insurance information only for the bloodwork/urine samples. We also have available self-pay prices. Please call for information at (434)-261-1261.

  1. Review of your vaccination records. Please bring all the vaccination records translated into English that you have available. If we determine that you need further vaccinations, we work with Giant Pharmacy located at 1900 Abbey Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22911. We will work with Giant Pharmacy to fulfill the vaccination requirements.
